How our AI reel was made: from idea to finished video

A look behind the scenes. Step by step, we show how we produced a short video about the evolution of marketing almost entirely with AI.

Our homepage features a short video: "Marketing has changed three times in 30 years. Most people slept through it." In it, Pragmadad walks from newspapers and TV, through the arrival of the internet, to the AI era. Many people ask where we filmed it. The answer: nowhere. The video was made with AI. Here's what happened behind the scenes.

Step 1: The idea in one sentence

Every good video starts with one clear idea. Ours was: "If you don't master AI, you'll fall behind, just like those who slept through the internet." Everything else grew from it.

Step 2: A scene-by-scene script

We split the video into short scenes, each with one line:

  1. Close-up of a face: "Marketing has changed 3 times in 30 years."
  2. A retro room with a TV and newspapers: "Before the internet: newspapers, flyers, TV."
  3. A dark room, a laptop: "Then came the internet. Suddenly anyone could be seen."
  4. A night street full of people on their phones: "Google, Facebook, Instagram. The fastest won."
  5. Futuristic screens: "Today: the AI era. 1 person + AI = a whole marketing team."
  6. An editing suite: "Videos, ads, content, in a fraction of the time and cost."
  7. Closing call to action: "Want to build an AI brand that sells?"

Step 3: A consistent character

The hardest part of an AI video is making the character look the same in every scene. Pragmadad has his signature features: sunglasses, a beard, a black hoodie. We kept them in every scene. Working with reference photos and consistently describing the same details helps.

Step 4: Consistent light and color

For the video to feel like one piece, every scene shares the same mood: dark background, warm golden light, a cinematic look. We then used the same palette on the website, which is why the site and the video feel like one brand.

Step 5: Motion

From the finished images, we used AI video tools to create short clips with movement: a slight camera push-in, gestures, people moving in the background.

Step 6: Voice, text and edit

We recorded the voiceover and added music and bold captions: big white and gold lettering. Captions matter because most people watch reels without sound. The whole video is under 30 seconds.

What we learned

  • The idea matters more than the technology. AI can produce anything, but it won't decide what you want to say.
  • Consistency creates professionalism. The same character, lighting and font.
  • Short and punchy. One line per scene.
  • You still need a human eye. We picked the best from many generated versions and threw a lot away.

How long it took

Instead of weeks of filming and post-production, it took days. And above all: we can quickly produce more versions for ads or other languages.

Summary

Our reel proves that a quality video no longer needs a crew and a studio. It needs a clear idea, a consistent style, good AI tools and someone who knows what they're doing.
