How an AI influencer makes money: 6 ways to monetize

Having an AI character with followers is nice. Having an AI character that makes money is better. Just like real creators, AI influencers have several income streams. Here are the six most common, starting with the easiest.

1. Affiliate commissions

The character recommends products and has a special link in the description. When someone buys through it, you earn a commission. It's the easiest start because you need neither your own product nor a big audience.

Important: only recommend what makes sense for your audience, and label the links as ads.

2. Brand collaborations

Brands pay for the character to show their product. With AI characters, businesses have an advantage: the character is always "available", won't change its mind and won't get caught up in a scandal. On the other hand, some brands don't trust AI characters yet.
