How to build a content creation system with Claude
One idea a week, posts for every channel. A simple process for setting up a repeatable content creation system with the AI assistant Claude.
Most people use AI at random: when they don't know what to write, they open a chat and come up with something. The results are random too. A system works much better: the same process every week, where AI handles the routine and you create. Here's how to build one with Claude.
The principle: one idea, lots of content
Instead of inventing something new every day, you take one main idea a week and turn it into content for every channel:
- a longer video or article,
- 3–5 short videos (reels, TikTok),
- a LinkedIn or Facebook post,
- an email for subscribers,
- a few short thoughts for stories.
Step 1: Create a project
In Claude, create a project (a workspace with its own rules). Add:
- a description of your brand and what you sell,
- who your customer is and what bothers them,
- samples of your writing you like (so the AI understands your style),
- rules: what you never write, the length you prefer, how you talk.
Claude then uses this information for every task in the project.
Step 2: The weekly idea
At the start of the week, pick a topic. These questions help:
- What did customers ask me about this week?
- What did I learn or experience?
- What mistake keeps happening in my industry?
Step 3: Break it into formats
In the project, write for example:
"Topic of the week: why ads don't work for online stores. Prepare: 1) an outline for a 5-minute video, 2) scripts for 4 short videos with an opening line, 3) a LinkedIn post, 4) an email for subscribers. Follow the project rules."
Step 4: Your added value
Now comes the most important part: go through the output and add yourself. Your own story, a client example (with consent), an opinion, a joke. Without that, your content will sound like everyone else's.
Step 5: Production
Film the videos (or use an AI avatar), prepare visuals in a consistent style and schedule the whole week's posts at once.
Step 6: Feed results back into the system
At the end of the week, add a short summary to the project: which posts performed best and why you think they did. Over time the system "learns" what your audience enjoys, and the suggestions keep getting better.
How much time it takes
Once it's running, usually a few hours a week instead of a daily struggle. Above all, you get consistency, and with content that matters more than perfection.
Summary
A system built with Claude turns one weekly idea into content for every channel. The keys are a project with your brand rules, a fixed weekly process and always adding your own story and opinion. If you'd like a custom content strategy and plan, see our content strategy service.
